This Soccer and Spanish language program has been developed and is organized in partnership with the Royal Spanish Football Federation (Spanish: RFEF) in 2 great locations in Spain: Madrid and Barcelona. This Soccer and Spanish classes camp has the goal of offering young people the opportunity to experience the best of the football world. The exciting program, lead by fully experienced coaches from the Spanish Federation and a dedicated educational staff, aims to motivate the student through the practice of soccer games by stressing personal values like friendship, self-esteem, tolerance, discipline, and fair play. The program wants to help in the process of learning through a global training system where the students find the answers to technical-tactical situations by playing football and having fun. The sport can give young people the right tools for decision-making, contributing to the personal autonomy and maturing process.
This program is for boys 10 to 16 years old. It offers residential overnight stay and also day camp options.
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (Spanish: Real Federación Española de Fútbol, RFEF) is the governing body of Soccer in Spain.
Spanish soccer is on top of the World since the Spanish National team won the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup in South Africa and the European Championship in 2008 in Germany and 2012 in Ukraine.
The players will learn the famous Tiki-Taka game from La Roja (“The Red” as the national team is known as), described as a style of play based on making your way to the back of the net through short passing and movements. The students are divided into age and ability level groups in order to get the best out of each participant, making working groups that can better achieve the program objectives through physical strength and technical efforts. The RFEF coaching staff offers the right basis for integration, with a highly professional program structure, using the newest team-building strategies.
Specific goalkeeper practice will be available during all sessions.
The camps are formed by both boarding and day-camp students, always encouraging the coexistence with different cultures and personal aptitudes.
This camp integrates local Spanish students with international participants through the Spanish classes, always with focus on the football practice and technical expressions, using mostly spoken language. The students also learn about the History of Soccer, get to know curiosities about the most famous world players, and much more. The language classes are taught in 15 sessions a week in Madrid and 10 sessions a week in Barcelona, either in the classroom or on the fields.
Students also have a busy program in the evenings (residential participants only) with dynamic activities such as games, music, movie, parties, and more. During the weekends (residential participants only) there are visits to the stadiums of Santiago Bernabeu (Real Madrid) and Camp Nou (FC Barcelona), and possible excursions to places such as Parque Warner amusement park, Arts & Science City, PortAventura, beaches, museums, and much more.
