The official training soccer camp of FC Girondins of Bordeaux (6-time France National Champions, former club of the great Zinedine Zidane and France midfield player Yoann Gourcuff), which has been around for more than 25 years, has become an international reference in soccer camps. More than 50,000 players have been through the Cap Girondins Soccer Camps over the past 25 years including the famous goalkeeper from Genoa in the Italian Serie A, Sébastien Frey.
The Cap Girondins Soccer Camp is located at FC Girondins Bordeaux Headquarters were the First Team and Academy reside.
Specific goalkeeper practice will be available during all sessions.
Residential and Day Camp soccer sessions are available.
There are also players at the camp from other European countries, Africa, and America. This diversity helps contribute to the soccer and cultural richness of Cap Girondins Soccer Camp.
If a game is playing at Bordeaux stadium with the PRO team during your session, you will be invited for FREE to see the game. Sometimes, based on their schedule, some of the Bordeaux PRO players stop at the camp after their training session for a half hour of questions and answers with the Cap Girondins Soccer Campers; it’s an excellent opportunity to find out what is needed to become a PRO player or what life is like as a PRO soccer player in France.
This soccer program is only designed for those who play soccer in a soccer club and have a license in a club.
(Mandatory: after you register for this camp, we will need to receive a copy of the participant’s 2015/2016 soccer club license/membership/registration)
The camp has a large number of French players (more than 90% on average) and is coached in French but that does not stop many international players from participating at the camp. Knowledge of French recommended.
