With honors including 6 European Cups, 3 UEFA Cups, 4 European Super Cups, 1 Club World Cup, 19 League Championships, 7 FA Cups, 9 League Cups and 16 Charity Shields, Liverpool has become one the most famous and respected soccer clubs throughout Europe and the World. The Club’s traditions and foundations were laid by Bill Shankly who became a firm favorite with the fans and helped forge a remarkable partnership between the players and the supporters. Shankly’s greatest legacy to the Club was a style of management that continued unchanged for nearly four decades, epitomized as ‘The Boot Room’ philosophy – with many of those values in place today.
