Paris Saint Germain Academy Camp

Training Methodology & Curriculum:

The Official PSG Training Methodology:
Experience the same training philosophy used by the Paris Saint-Germain first team. Elite Training program is designed to develop complete players—technically proficient, tactically intelligent, and physically prepared.

Total Athlete Care & Recovery Available exclusively for overnight campers at Athletica Eaubonne.
The camp prioritize the physical and mental well-being of the residential players with a complete support system designed to optimize health and development:

    • Morning Activation (Muscle Wake-Up): Before stepping onto the field, players undergo a daily analysis-based activation session. This includes joint warm-ups, mobility exercises, and progressive muscle activation to optimize physical readiness and prevent injury.

    • Recovery Protocol: Every late afternoon (30-45 mins), players engage in structured regeneration sessions. Utilizing foam rollers, stretching, and active recovery (e.g., footvolley), this protocol limits fatigue and teaches elite recovery habits.

    • Educational Performance Workshops: Throughout the week, players attend classroom sessions on Sports Nutrition, Recovery Science, and High-Performance Factors. These workshops aim to build autonomy and a deeper understanding of what it takes to be an elite athlete.

Daily Training Structure (Monday – Friday, all sessions)

    • Intensity: 2 performing sessions per day.

Morning Session: Technical Mastery & Precision Focus on individual skill development and ball control.

    • Cognitive Warm-up: Activation drills designed to sharpen mental alertness and reaction speed.

    • Technical Workshops: Intensive repetition of core skills: Ball Control, Dribbling, Passing, and Shooting.

    • Performance Testing: Regular skills evaluation to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Afternoon Session: Game Intelligence & Tactics Focus on applying skills in real-game scenarios.

    • Tactical Awareness: Learning positioning, movement off the ball, and defensive/offensive transitions.

    • Small-Sided Games: High-intensity matches that force quick decision-making.

    • Competitive Tournaments: Daily scrimmages to foster a winning mentality and team cohesion.

Tailored Player Progression

    • Grouped by Age and Ability: To ensure the most effective development, the program is adapted to the trainee’s age and level. On Day 1, players are evaluated and placed into groups based on Age, Skill Level, and Physical Condition.

    • Individual Feedback: The coaching staff adjusts the intensity to challenge every participant appropriately.

Goalkeepers:
Even so there are no specific goalkeepers sessions/workshops, goalkeepers are integrated and adapted into the training sessions, and they are fully utilized and supported in the drills. Even without a dedicated “goalkeeper” workshop, they benefit from specific content within the program.
