Benfica Elite Training Soccer Camps in Lisbon, Portugal is a 2024 Elite Football Camp Program developed by Sport Lisboa e Benfica, the most famous Portuguese football team in the world, for boys and girls from ages 13 – 18 that want to develop and improve their sporting performance.
Sport Lisboa e Benfica Football Club will put at the participants’ disposal the knowledge and soccer programs that made it a world reference in the elite football training of young athletes.
This soccer / football program is only designed for those who play soccer in a soccer club and have a license in a club.

Benfica is the most successful Portuguese Soccer Club in terms of overall international trophies for a total of 86 titles and the only one to have won all Portuguese competitions. They have won a record 38 Primeira Liga Portuguese titles (the first team to win the league undefeated), and 26 Portuguese Cup Titles. Internationally, Benfica won two consecutive European Cup titles (Actual UEFA Champion’s League) in 1961 and 1962.
Benfica SL was the club of Eusébio da Silva Ferreira. Eusébio is considered one of the greatest footballers of all time. During his professional career, he scored 638 goals with Benfica.
The training schedules will consist of 4 hours of practice per day during each session, and will be developed by Benfica coaches accredited by both the Portuguese Football Federation and UEFA.
Developed by Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Elite Training Camps is a program for players that want to develop and improve their sporting performance.
The participants will be divided by age groups according to their age/level, and a specific technical and tactical training program will be implemented in each of the groups. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to be observed and assessed by Sport Lisboa e Benfica’s Scouting Department.
The methodology applied in Elite Training Camps will be the same SL Benfica uses in the training of its athletes and which guarantees the sustainability of its professional squads. Besides the specific training sessions that SL Benfica will provide, you will be able to develop your technical, tactical, physical and psychological skills. Such aspects as running technique, relationship with the ball, tactical circulations, attacking and defensive game principles, will be worked daily in both individual and collective situations.
Accredited by the Portuguese Football Federation and UEFA, the SL Benfica coaches are key elements in the development of the Club’s young athletes. They will be monitoring your evolution in practices during Elite Training Camps. The technical director in charge will be Rodrigo Magalhães.
Goalkeeper training is also available during the camp for both boys and girls.
Coaching sessions will be done in Portuguese and English by the coaches.
