West Ham United Soccer Camp in London, England with London Overnight Soccer Camps or London Day Soccer Camps options is pleased to offer this 2024 world-leading soccer camp which will allow campers to have the soccer experience of a lifetime with training at the West Ham United Foundation Training facilities while experiencing the professional training methods that have made elite players worldwide.

West Ham United Foundation International Soccer Academy football camps offers Coed Training Sessions but girls are only allowed to attend the first two sessions in July. This soccer camp is available for Boys and Girls from 10 to 17 years old as well as for Goalkeeper Boys and Girls from 12 to 17 years old but please be aware that Coed Training Sessions are only available during the first two sessions in July with boys and girls training together (since girls are only allowed to attend the first two sessions in July but boys can attend any of the camp sessions including the first two sessions in July which are Coed Training Sessions) and that there is a very limited number of girls at this camp.

Soccer Club players can enroll in the High Performance sessions (12 – 17 years old only) while players do not have to belong to a soccer club in order to enroll in the Development sessions or the Standard sessions. Standard sessions are for beginners at soccer.

Train with West Ham United Foundation International Soccer Academy

You will receive soccer training in an academy system widely-recognized as the best in the UK. You will have the opportunity to experience soccer training delivered by a leading Premiership club and experience what it takes to train in a professional soccer environment. In addition to the use of the latest video-analysis technology and training techniques, participants will have the opportunity to participate in the camp’s pro-experience seminars which are delivered by West Ham United Foundation’s staff and cover areas including scouting/player identification, nutrition and physical conditioning as well as other specialist areas. Soccer Only Camps as well as Soccer Camps with English as Second Language Classes (additional fee required) are available for the West Ham United Foundation International Soccer Academy.

PLEASE NOTE the following for the West Ham United Foundation International Soccer Academy:

Four Different Session Options to Choose From:

  • Standard Session (beginners at soccer):

    The Standard program is designed for Boys and Girls (Coed first 2 sessions) from 10 – 17 years old who are beginners at soccer. Standard sessions offer an opportunity to develop your skills at soccer while participating in rewarding training sessions. Coaching sessions are aimed to develop the soccer skills of participants including agility, positioning, ball control, passing and moving, formations and tactics but also the ability to attack and defend.

  • Development Session (players do not have to belong to a soccer club):

    The Development program is designed for Boys and Girls (Coed first 2 sessions) from 10 – 17 years old who do not have to belong to a soccer club but who wish to improve their soccer skills. This program is designed for players who are at a standard level and/or are aiming to go into the high performance level. Coaching sessions are aimed to develop the soccer skills of participants including agility, positioning, ball control, passing and moving, formations and tactics but also the ability to attack and defend.

  • High Performance Session (club level players only, 12 – 17 years old only):

    The High Performance program is designed for Boys and Girls (Coed first 2 sessions) from 12 – 17 years old who belong to a Soccer Club. This program is designed for players already playing at a high level and aims to take participants to the next level through training methods and techniques developed for professional teams. Training focuses on technical, tactical, team preparation and performance analysis, mental development and injury prevention. Enhance your technical and match-play skills under the guidance of West Ham United Foundation’s coaching team and participate in rewarding training sessions.

  • Goalkeeper Option (available for Standard, Development, and High Performance sessions):

    For Boy Goalkeepers and Girl Goalkeepers (Coed first 2 sessions) from 12 – 17 years old who want to focus on goalkeeper training, the camp offers specific goalkeeper training according to their level. Goalkeepers will have 5 hours per week of goalkeeper training in addition to 10 hours per week of soccer training. Goalkeepers who enroll in the English classes option (Standard, Development, and High Performance sessions) will have 12 hours per week of English classes in addition to 5 hours per week of goalkeeper training and 10 hours per week of soccer training.

Option only: English Classes as a Second Language (British Council accredited)

The Soccer and English Camps incorporate 12 hours of English classes per week along with 15 hours per week of soccer training for both the Development sessions and the High Performance sessions.

English Classes are created exclusively by Choices International, accredited by British Council with excellence for the teaching of English and will take place at the Bacon’s College & Sports Centre Campus.

Language instruction uses a fun, participation approach to learning and emphasizes spoken language skills.

The optional program is specifically designed for children with an interest in soccer and includes a range of role-plays, pair-work and activities. The program develops English skills within a soccer context.

Students receive 12 hours of English lessons per week (optional, additional fee required), taught by qualified teachers in classes of a maximum size of 15 students. Students are tested on arrival, and placed in classes with other students of approximately the same level.

English teachers give seminars on Wednesdays which incorporate video analysis of matches but also cover important aspects such as tactics, techniques, nutrition and sports psychology as part of the soccer program.
