Stone had such an amazing experience at camp this summer! We are definitely bringing him back for another year. I must admit, I was a little reluctant coming over seas for our sons first overnight camp experience, but am so glad we did!!! The staff and counselors were great. Thank you to all of your staff and counselors as this was one of his best experiences ever!!!

AC Milan Junior Camp: Logistics & Safety FAQ

What are the differences between the AC Milan Overnight and Day Camp options?

The Residential (Overnight) Camp is open to boys aged 8-16 and includes full-board accommodation at local hotels (such as Alaska Hotel or Hotel Gaarten). The Day Camp is available for ages 6-16 and includes lunch plus two snacks daily. Day campers check in at 08:45 each morning and are picked up at 18:30, following the afternoon training and recreational activities.

How do international students travel from the airport to the AC Milan camp?

The camp provides a supervised transfer service from Venice Marco Polo (VCE) Airport. A representative from the private transportation company (contracted by the local organizer, Sporteventi) meets students in the public arrivals area with a prominent sign. Arrival transfers take place on Sundays, and departure transfers are on Saturdays. Journey times vary from 35 minutes (Jesolo) up to 2 hours 15 minutes (Cortina) depending on the site.

What is the safety procedure for children traveling as Unaccompanied Minors?

Safety is closely managed by the camp staff. For participants under 15 traveling as Unaccompanied Minors (UM), the transfer driver is responsible for the formal handover process. On departure, the driver accompanies the student through check-in and remains until they are handed over to airline staff at the boarding gate, ensuring continuous supervision throughout the process.

Where do the coaching sessions and residential life take place?

Training sessions are held at high-quality local sports centers, such as the Stadio Comunale Antonella De Rigo in Cortina or the Bella Italia Sports Centre in Lignano. Residential students stay at premium local hotels located near the training fields. Coaching is delivered by AC Milan Academy staff primarily in Italian, though many coaches speak English to support international participants.

Can friends request to share a room at the AC Milan residential camp?

Yes, roommate requests can be made during the online registration process. Depending on the location, rooms typically accommodate two to five children. While the camp staff (Sporteventi) makes every effort to place friends or relatives together, room assignments are subject to the specific layout of the hotel (such as Alaska Hotel or Hotel Gaarten) and the session logistics.

The camp requires a doctor’s medical certificate (no older than a year) attesting that the participant is physically able to fully participate in all sports and social activities during the camp.

All Italian camps are taught in Italian and some English. Coaches speak some English during each session for the many international participants. For numerous years, we have had participants coming from all over the world and a lot of them do not speak Italian but acclimate very well to the camp as there is no language barrier.

Note: All prices are per person and in US dollars. Prices & availability are subject to change without written notification and are not confirmed until full payment has been made.

  • Official International Agent Access: Soccer Camps International is an Official International Agent for registrations to the official AC Milan Academy Junior Camp summer programs, providing international families with secure access and clear guidance for this club-branded camp.
